GATE 2017 Eligibility Criteria
The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee will hold GATE 2017 examination on February 4, 5, 11 and 12, 2017
GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) examinations will be conducted by Indian Institute of Technology on dates: February 4, 5, 11 and 12, 2017. The GATE 2017 examination will be conducted by Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
Candidates must have the following educational qualification for GATE 2017:

Educational qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology and those who are in the final year of such programmes are eligible to apply
Bachelor's degree in Architecture of five year duration
Bachelor's degree of four year programme in Science (B.Sc),
Master's degree in any branch of Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final year of such programmes
The applicant needs to have a 5-year integrated Master of Science (M.Sc) or 5-year integrated B.Sc/M.Sc degree
The Candidates applying for GATE 2017 from countries such as: Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Nepal, Singapore, Sri Lanka and UAE should have completed a Bachelor's degree in engineering or Master's degree in science in relevant subject or are in the final year of the programme. Candidates in their final year of all the above mentioned programmes can also apply.
